11/29/2005 - Bar Room Semantics is a staff pick from Real Networks' Rhapsody!

This week we've had the honor to be a featured staff pick from Real Networks Rhapsody. The streaming online music services "alt-country" editor has taken a liking to the band:

"Yes, their music rules as hard as their name does. Just when you thought alt country went out with Pokémon, Backyard Tire Fire bring something new to the table, blending Moog with twangy rock and whiskey-pickled vocals. "The Daze" is undoubtedly the best narrative about a guy in a band (sorry "Juke Box Hero" fans) - Eric Shea, RealNetworks

If you listen regularly to music on your computer and you aren't familiar with Rhapsody yet get involved. According to our manager Geoff, it has "changed his life". Where else do you have access to the entire Miles Davis, Neil Young, Son Volt, Tom Petty, Rolling Stones, Stevie Wonder, Alejandro Escoveda catalogs + 100,000 more albums at the click of a button. We don't normally "pitch" corporate america products, but this one is really that revolutionary, download a version here: Bar Room Semantics
